INFO
Many, many years ago in a land just across the Severn Bridge, a 13 year old Daisy May recorded her first song. The next few weeks and months became a blur of excitement with a television company deciding to film the crazy journey and showcase performances for recording companies in London. It was all I had ever dreamed out.
But for little me, it all got a bit much. Not the singing (I did and always will love the singing) but the struggle between being a normal – somewhat nerdy – kid and the ‘Miss Daisy Blue’ product that felt had to spend many after school hours recording music that I didn’t really feel passionate about. I still find it difficult to understand exactly why but I “retired” at around the age of 15. I felt like I had let a lot of people down, mainly my co-manager who coincidently was also my father.

I knew that to be in that industry you had to eat, sleep and breathe it so I vowed to myself that until I got that fire back in my belly I wouldn’t sing properly again...
Almost 10 years later, I got the fire. Along with the support from my lovely boyfriend I started recording again last week with his friend and brilliant musician Seb Satchell. I hope to give this crazy journey another whirl – this time it’s with music I truly believe in and with the hope that I can make my father proud! I hope you enjoy the journey.
xoxo
